ABOUT MAYO BOOKS PRESS
The Brennan family launched Mayo Books Press in 2021 to find, develop and publish original books that primarily have a link to Co. Mayo but also further afield.
Mayo Books Press is based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo and publishes internationally. Our authors include Andy Moran ( Mayo GAA Player, GPA Player of the Year 2017 and current Leitrim GAA Manager), Ultan Cowley, Noel Campbell, John Healy and hopefully many many more in the years to come.
Mayo Books Press is borne out of the family’s experience of owning ‘The Castle Bookshop’ in Castlebar, learning to identify topics that should be written about and books of Mayo and Irish interest that need to be written and read.
